He is Risen!
On Easter, God gave us the greatest gift we could ever receive . . . Forgiveness and
eternal life in Heaven.
About two thousand years ago, God gave to the world His only Son, Jesus Christ.
Jesus was sent to the world to save us from our sins. Anyone who believes he died on the
cross and rose again, and repents of their sins, will live in Heaven eternally after their
life on earth is over. Salvation is that simple. It is so simple a child can understand.
Simply Repent and Believe
John 3:16-17 says it this way:
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his one and only Son, that whosoever believes
in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the
world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." (NIV)
If you are feeling lonely or depressed, or are overwhelmed with problems or
sickness, talk to Jesus. If you want to accept him into your heart, tell Him.
He is waiting to hear from you.
The Lord's Prayer:
Our Father who art in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth, as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses (sins), as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil:
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
